One year ago, on 25 June 2019, the official Luxinar rebranding campaign started when it was revealed to the market, with great success, at the Laser World of Photonics show in Munich, Germany.
This new chapter in the global laser leader’s 20-year history has brought with it many achievements. Along with the UK headquarters, the Luxinar sales and service offices in China, Germany, Italy, South Korea and the USA have been restyled to fit with the new branding. At the same time, the company delivered on the huge task of adapting thousands of documents, launched a new website and established a presence on various social media platforms. Luxinar is currently on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the Chinese platforms WeChat, TikTok and Bilibili.
Some of Luxinar’s staff also discovered hidden talents as actors, writers, art directors and producers whilst working on the production of the company’s professional videos “A day in the life” and “Our journey” and several other product-related videos. Other colleagues designed and produced new pop-up stands for exhibitions and events and worked as editors or writers for the Luxinar company newsletter.
Luxinar continues to further strengthen its portfolio of market leading CO2 lasers, with the recent launch of the SR 08s 80W sealed laser source, and to explore new technologies such as femtosecond lasers. Continuing to operate from its purpose-built manufacturing facility in Kingston upon Hull, UK, Luxinar employs more than 180 people – both in the UK and overseas.
