Luxinar has established new, and strengthened existing, overseas offices and technical support since it became an independent company in 2018. Luxinar now has regional offices in Germany, Italy, China and South Korea. As such, the aftersales organisation has been restructured to further strengthen and align the aftersales support activities within the business as a whole.
Effective 1 August 2019, Simon Bateman has been appointed Global Aftersales Manager, reporting directly to Managing Director, Klaus Leitner. Simon will be responsible for ensuring that all aftersales support services – technical support, spare parts and repair services – are delivered in a uniform and structured manner worldwide to meet both the expectations of the market and Luxinar’s high quality standards. The overseas technical managers will therefore have dotted line reporting to Simon for aftersales activities, while continuing to report directly to their respective General Manager or Director.
To align the UK service operations with the worldwide organisation structure, Nick Edwards will become Technical Support Manager, responsible for all UK-based support. Kate Smalley will continue to manage the UK-based service administration and shipping. Both will report directly to the Global Aftersales Manager.
