Processing electronics with laser precision (brochure)

May 2021

CO2 lasers are used in a variety of electronics applications such as: cutting individual components or circuits from electronics substrates, marking electronic components, drilling holes in mobile phone cases, cutting plastic films for touch screens and patterning plastic screens for backlit displays.

The benefits of lasers compared with conventional mechanical processing include: less downtime, improved accuracy, reduced or no maintenance, indelible marking of a range of materials, low heat accumulation, and high quality machined finish.

This brochure looks at how the range of CO2 lasers from Luxinar are used by the electronics industry.
